Presidents' Day at Alpenglow. No lift lines, free lift ticket, and blue skies. Take a run with Kris.
Kris traverses through the rocks. The Talkeetna Mountains are 40 miles in the distance, an old Nike Missile site is on the opposite ridge.

Kris finishes the traverse and looks for the chute through the rocks.

Kris works her way down through the rocks

and points her skis downhill.

The chute funnels everyone into a skied up section.

Kris exits the chute and heads left in search of untracked.

Kris works her way further left, leaving the heavily tracked slope,

attacking the steepness with agressiveness,

throwing large chunks of snow.

As she nears the bottom of the slope, the snow becomes creamy smooth.

Kris lays them on edge and arcs a smooth turn.

Notice that no large chunks are spraying off her skis in this frame
